Wow I havn't posted a deviantation in what seems like forever!
So my friend Trudie and I thought to make soap for our family and friends this Christmas and this was our end result! We used the simple melt and pour method and it worked great!

We used a lot of different scents, but my favorites were the chocolate/peppermint and cinnamon sugar scented ones we made!

We tried a lot of layering techniques as well and used cookie cutters! I hope you enjoy!

Well I have only tried melt and pour soap and it works great for me. ^-^
All you need is some glycerin base soap from hobby lobby (you can get some in bulk). Then melt one block of the soap base in a microwavable container for 25-30 seconds in the microwave. Take it out and make sure the soap is all melted, then mix sparkles, scents, food dye, perfume, shampoo, anything you want into the mixture and pour the mixture into a mold (bendy molds are good). Let it sit for 15 min and then take it out of the mold. Voila you have some good soap!

I used a few books from the library, so I have no links for how to do it sorry D: I tried to explain best I could ^-^ Its quite easy and fun to do with friends!

Are the sea shells real sea shells, or soap sea shells?

Hehe thank you! ^-^

Yes I made most of the scents myself and used fragrance oils for the rest. (: Haha. Thanks for the comment!
